did you know soap doesn’t really clean your hands it just makes the water molecules smaller so the water can go into smaller crevices in your skin isn’t that the weirdest shit you’ve read today
Too many people reblogged this thinking it’s true and that makes me sad.
Water is polar, and thus can’t dissolve organic, non-polar molecules (most dirt/grime). Thankfully we have soap which is non-polar on one end to collect dirt, and polar on the other to be dissolved in water.
